Step 1: Go to https://www.office.com/setup
Step 2: Sign in with your Microsoft account, or create one if you don’t have one (you can create one with any existing email address you already have). Be sure to remember this account so that you can install or reinstall Office later, without a product key.
Step 3: Enter your Office product key, without hyphens.
Step 4: Follow the prompts to finish the redemption process and start downloading the software.
- When all required data have been loaded, the window closes and the installation status can be seen.
- After installation is completed, the window closes automatically.
To commence activation, you must start one of the applications installed (e.g. Excel). As soon as the programme starts, the window opens for you to enter the product key.
- After entering the product key, the programme is activated after a brief loading period.
- Programme activation is then confirmed, and you can start to use the programme.
